| OK so I know I have been getting lazy on this but hey new semester and
new schedule, a crazy one at that. So since I updated me and Daniel
have made things official (Yah!), and I survived his pledging. It
seemed during that time that his only free time was when I was in class
or doing Zeta stuff, so that was hard but he's done and is an official
Phi Kappa Chi.
In other news pledge songs are going great, and we have some amazing
moves, that some of y'all can see at pledge dance. Baylor is wonderful,
and completly beautiful in the spring. Only one week till spring break
and home for me time. Tests and homework is completly crazy and
overwealming at times, but with a lot of work and some help from the
man upstairs I have surrvived (Maybee end up with an A in chem 2).
But anywayz Zeta days this weekend, meaning 100's of girls from across
the state coming together and celebrating the privilage of being a Zeta
lady.
Well seeing that I have slept about 6 hrs in the last 2 nights, I am going to bed EARLY!

| Umm last week was great, and my vball team took down the top ranked Chi Omega A team, which is a big deal around here. This weekend was wonderfull, filled with basketball and my face on national TV 2x ahh yea for bear pit. If you watched the UT game i was the one with the dry erase board and the black and gold ref jersey. Then girls game courtside seats, grrr I was mad almost as mad as mulkey (and she threw off her suit jacket at one time).
Later to get over the anger Daniel took me to see glory road, it was amazing and then we stayed up till 2am talking in the lobby. I am soo greatful to have a guy as genuine and sweet as he is, plus he has gorgeous blue eyes!
Got up, that was hard and went to church at UBC, David Crowder played and was great as usuall. Lunch at Ninfas then back for massive laundry and reading before pledge meeting, we got our Bunny buddies today, meaning cute bunny stuff. Well more scritures reading = reading the Bible like crazy.
| OMG OMG! Today was amazing, well almost. Starting out woke up, called
this lady for volunteer work stuff, she never called me back so mission
waco here I come. After that went to the tower thingy to do some paper
business, they have glass elavators! After that chem, Olson gave us a
12 min break so he could smoke, ok back up. I had this guy last
semester too but only for 50 min classes. Well now i have him for 80
min classes a bit longer. Well he is a chain smoker, walking to class
he will be outside puffin it up, so halfway into class he stops and
runs downstairs and smokes then comes back in, its soo funny but a
great break. He always comes in smelling like smoke uggg! But today
wasnt that hard. After that Food Science lab, haha that is great. We
got to taste things and stuff like that. My group was the gram cracker
station, can you tell if its low fat, cheap or expensive? Well the
lowfat ones are definatly more snappy than the regular, and the middle
and cheap ones were preffered nearly all the time over the expensive
ones. So after that came back, dinner with my Zetas at 6, then You BU
meeting at 8 i am soo excited about that, then intermurals. The Zeta B
team beat ADpi, then it was my teams turn to play.
We played the business frat, the girls of it that is. They were very
talented and had practiced alot. One girl in particular was really
intense and was an amazing hitter. We lost the first game 25-24, but
came back to win 25-17, and then we had a quick first to 5 point to
decide who won. Well I stacked the line up and lets say we did'nt need
it. Lindsey served all five points and we never lost the serve thanks
to Nikki and Liz, they are amazing hitters and everyone else was soo
good. So now we are all university playoff bound going in undefeated.
So yah!
This weekend im going to see my niece and family and do the massive
loads of laundry that I have. OH and pray that I find white clothing
its hard to find this time of year. Nighty night ~ Amanda

| OUTSTANDING! Only my HOBY friends know what I am talkin' about. Last night was soo much fun, getting to see the almost the entire group of my HOBY friends that go to school all over the country and world (aka Jen in Scotland). Every time that we hang out its like no time has passed by, I guess its just the bond that we have.
On the way to Avery's I almost got lost, and then a cat got in my car and wouldnt get out, that was a pain. Avery was "naked" with Sarah, pizza, m&m's, old friends, silent burrito, never have I ever, Aaron on the guitar, coin toss- its tails every time, Buddy the elf whats your favorite color, and soo much more. It reminds me how much I miss those guys when I am not around them. But good news HOBY reunion sometime soon in College Station, me, C___, Adam, and the long lost Seth.
Well i am about to put real clothes on, soo sad that PJ's don't work to go out in. I am heading back to Waco today, and for some reason I am not sad at all to leave Beaumont. I have great friends there but the feeling of going off to school and the independence that you gain in doing soo, is alot more fun than being at home. But to make it better I get to see Evie today! She probably has an amazing tan from spending all break in Australia, but I will remain the whitest of white that I am. Rush starts officially tomorrow, and parties start Wed. so wish me luck. Next entry I might have started pledging something if everything goes well.
Hope everyone had an amazing holiday and see ya soon ~ Amanda
